RebirthRO's History and Server Information
RebirthRO was a beloved server for many Ragnarok Online fans. Unfortunately, in 2017, it was compromised by Ancyker/Remy, who hijacked the server and created challenges for our community. Remy misled players and did false copyright claims and DDoS attacks, attempting to disrupt the server's growth. He later created a clone server, but the true RebirthRO experience continues to thrive under its new name RevivalRO.
Why We Moved to Asia
In response to the growing demand from players in Asia, we relocated our servers to better hosting in Asia in 2017. This allowed us to cut costs by 90%, enhance server performance, and provide our large Filipino, Malaysian, Indonesian, and other Asian players with a stronger connection. Our move also helped us maintain solid ties with European and USA players.
My journey with RebirthRO began in 2005, and despite the challenges I faced with Ancyker/Remy, I persevered to rebuild the server. After many hurdles, including an illness that led to a loss of server data, I fixed over 10,000 bugs to restore the experience and continue delivering the best service to our dedicated players.
The StolenRO Fiasco
Rather than starting his own project, Remy/Ancyker chose to steal RebirthRO's work and launch a server called StolenRO. This server remains neglected and without players, a clear reflection of his lack of integrity. RebirthRO stands as a symbol of dedication, respect, and hard work.
RevivalRO: The True Home for RebirthRO Fans
While a small group of players still follows Remy on his stolen server, the true home for RebirthRO fans is RevivalRO. Our loyal community continues to grow and thrive, with many players choosing the authentic RebirthRO experience. The false rumors and stolen content don't reflect the values we uphold at RebirthRO, We are now RevivalRO the home for dedicated fans and players.
Despite the challenges I faced with Ancyker/Remy, I�ve ensured that RebirthRO continues to provide a safe and exciting environment for our players. Ive removed any misleading content from the website to prevent further confusion and false claims about our history.
We want to clarify these issues so that new and old players understand the full context. If you are returning and find your characters missing, it's due to the actions of those who hijacked the server.
